New Hanover Disaster Coalition

The Communications Intern with the New Hanover Disaster Coalition will be involved with, and support the development of, communications strategies that inform and educate the community on hurricane recovery resources and preparation information. Candidates should be enrolled in school with some communications experience. Spanish speaking and familiarity with graphic design, info graphics and basic design preferred. Roles and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:  Creating social media content and presence  Assisting with developing materials to help with awareness  Brochure  Committee and partner spotlight content  Ensure website and social media information is accurate and up to date Some training provided. Flexible schedule will be negotiated depending on class or work obligations.
