Our Mission
The mission of Cape Fear HealthNet is to connect Cape Fear region residents with low or no income to coordinated, quality, and affordable healthcare resulting in a better, healthier life.
Our Vision
A healthy community where there is access to healthcare for all.
Through our coordinated system of care, adults with low income who are uninsured are connected to a medical home and have access to free or low-cost primary care, specialty care, and care management.

- To date, we have enrolled over 22,000 people in our program. In the calendar year 2019, we made over 1,450 referrals to our network of specialty care providers
- 10-15% of our service area is uninsured and does not qualify for Medicaid, Medicare or the Affordable Care Act coverage.
- Our primary outcome goals are reducing inpatient and emergency department usage and improving health outcomes for patients with diabetes and high blood pressure
