What We Do
The DBNC Lower Cape Fear distributes diapers, adult incontinence items, and period products to support the dignity, health, and quality of life of Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover, and Pender County residents.
Call for Diapers!
Our biggest donation needs are 3t/4t pullups, 4t/5t pullups, and baby wipes.
For volunteers, we need people power!
- Individuals can volunteer on Mondays and Wednesdays 10:00-12:00 during our drop-in hours, no advance registration needed.
- Volunteer groups (businesses, civic organizations, religious groups, etc.) of 10-16 people can contact Julie via email to schedule a specific day/time.
Interesting Info
- It is our goal that every family in North Carolina have access to basic necessities to support their dignity, health, and quality of life.
- Since diapers are not included under WIC or SNAP, families experiencing diaper need often must choose between diapers and necessities like food and medicine.
- Donations have a big impact! $20 can provide diapers for 2 babies for a month, incontinence supplies for 2 older adults, or period products for 12 people!
