The First Tee - Greater Wilmington will impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. First Tee is an international youth development organization introducing the game of golf and it’s inherent values to kids and teens. Through after-school and in-school programs, we help shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect, and perseverance through the game of golf. And it’s making a difference. Reaching 3.4 million kids annually, First Tee offers programs in all 50 states through The National School Program in more than 9,000 elementary schools, 150 chapters at more than 1,200 golf courses and First Tee DRIVE at 1,300 youth centers. First Tee is expanding globally and currently offers programs at six international locations.
