What We Do
Hi there! Voyage's mission is "to connect youth with pathways to success." Although our goal is to empower youth to be successful, we believe that we cannot empower youth without also empowering their families and the communities in which they live. Therefore, Voyage takes a public health, community-based approach by providing wrap-around services centered around the CDC's social-ecological framework and social determinants of health. Our three pillars include: empowering individuals and families, fostering advocacy and leadership, and providing positive community engagement and enrichment opportunities. Programs related to the first pillar include the summer youth employment program, SAT tutoring, STEM afterschool, Teen mentorship and life coaching, and family case management. Addressing the second pillar, we host the Youth Leadership Council, Community Council, and Health & Wellness Committee. Relating to the third pillar, we host enrichment workshops, family nights, and connect youth facing financial barriers with scholarships to get involved with other community programs.
