What We Do
Our national program provides quality, trained service dogs free of charge to veterans with service-connected disabilities. All of the dogs that we use are rescued from local shelters.
Interesting Info
- We have partnered well over 100 dogs with individuals with disabilities.
- Each Canines for Service dog is valued at over $54,000 when fully trained, but is partnered with a veteran at absolutely no cost.
- 1.5 million animals are euthanized in US shelters annually. Using shelter dogs saves the life of the dog we rescue, and also opens up kennels for more dogs.
