The Carousel Center

The Carousel Center has been helping kids heal from abuse for over 20 years! As the region’s only nationally-accredited, nonprofit child advocacy center that provides child forensic interviews and medical exams, confidential professional trauma counseling, and caregiver support to children and their families who have experienced physical/sexual abuse in Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender counties. Founded in 2000, the Carousel Center serves an average of 500 children EVERY YEAR in the tri-county area, carrying out its mission to support healing, promote justice, and foster resilience in children victimized by physical or sexual abuse, and improve our community through education, prevention, and advocacy. TCC’s Wilmington office is located near downtown at 1501 Dock Street.
