What We Do

The Children's Museum of Wilmington's mission is to provide a welcoming and engaging environment that promotes hands-on art, science, and literacy-focused learning for children and their caregivers. We have been serving the greater Wilmington community for over 25 years. Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Wilmington, the Museum welcomes over 55,000 visitors annually to explore over 17,000 square feet of interactive exhibit space. We offer weekly educational programming for children, summer camps, we host over 50 field trips and 30 birthday parties annually. We provide many discounts to serve underserved families, military families, educators, and seniors. In addition to our in-house programming and events, we provide outreach throughout the community!
