What We Do
DREAMS is a high quality, multidisciplinary arts education program that is tuition free for all youth ages 8 to 17. A minimum of 80% of enrolled students come from families living at or below the poverty level and we are happy to report that 100% of high school seniors enrolled at DREAMS graduate and 99% of those graduates continue on to college or the military.
DREAMS utilizes the arts to achieve the objectives of Positive Youth Development. At our Center we provide youth with a safe, nurturing environment and positive adult role models. Out-of-school time spent at DREAMS results in positive outcomes such as increased academic performance, stronger family bonds, greater commitment to civic engagement and higher levels of self-esteem and confidence.
