What We Do
At Share the Table we serve our neighbors in need with a food pantry, free community meal and a school backpack program.
We provide a client choice pantry, meaning that we give our clients the dignity of choosing their own food items, much like they would in a grocery store. This also ensures they take home the products they know they will use and that their family will enjoy, rather than simply being handed a bag of food that might go to waste.
The community meal is a hot meal on Sunday evenings. Due to the pandemic we are still doing these meals to go. But, plan one day to again have a sit down meal where our neighbors and volunteers can fellowship together over a meal. And the school backpack program supplies food on the weekends to children who need it. We provide this program year round.
