Our organization empowers families through education, resources, mentoring, and love. This is achieved through 1:1 mentoring in Title 1 schools, individualized attention & support to families in underserved communities, family focus group sessions to address life skills, children's group sessions to address educational advancement and career readiness. Our goal is to motivate and inspire with personal, emotional, and professional development. Some of the areas we work on are: -Parenting Skills -Career Preparedness - Anger Management - Education Enrichment - Financial & Entrepreneur - Drug & Domestic Violence Prevention - Self - Esteem and Confidence - Health & Wellness Our Partners: LINC A Bike for Every Child United Way of the Cape Fear Area Smart Start North Carolinians Against Gun Violence
- We help hundreds of local families; we have partnered with LINC to provide a virtual learning lab and support system for students and parents.
- Through mentoring, academic performance, school attendance, graduation rates, and attitudes are all improved, but it really goes even deeper than that
- All local children and their families are fed, feel safe, and have ambition and motivation for a bright future. Saturday Academies are now offered virtually.
